Karen Wardrop started Kings Park Fashions in August 2004 from a suburban house, making visits to Retirement Villages, Nursing Homes, Bowling Clubs, church groups, CWA groups and to numerous other locations. Fashion parades are her specialty and with her loyal customers wanting to send friends and relatives to purchase the great clothing and receive the outstanding service provided, led to the organic growth and demand for KINGS PARK FASHIONS to enter the retail arena. Karen recognised that there was a lack of fashion stores to provide clothing for ladies from 45 and older and, therefore, concentrated on servicing this niche market. Now with five stores, the mobile van, clearance outlet and an administration and warehouse area, she now provides employment to 35 ladies who provide excellent service to the customers who love what it is that KINGS PARK FASHIONS stand for.
